On Thursday August 23, 2012, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the official inauguration of the University College Sjællands Campus Roskilde in Trekroner.
Upon her arrival the crown princess was warmly greeted by students, staff, locals, government officials including the Minister of Education, Mr. Morten Østergaard.
After listening to various speeches as well as signing a glass plaque Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary toured the new campus and mingled with students.
The University College Sjællands Campus Roskilde offers various courses to students interested in social work, nursing, and physiotherapy to name a few.
