His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Enjoys Day 9 of the London Olympics.

On the evening of August 5, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco along with the Secretary General of the Monaco International Committee, Ms. Yvette Lambin-Berti watched various Track and Field events held at the Olympic Stadium in London.

Also in attendance were His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands along with their daughters, Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and third wheel (I’m kidding) His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales to name a few.

So what events did they royals enjoy this evening?  Well, they watched, with utter amazement I’m sure, as Mr. Usain Bolt of Team Jamaica won the gold medal in the Men’s 100m Final.  His time: 9.63 seconds!  Wow!!

Mr. Yohan Blake of Team Jamaica came in second place with a time of 9.75.  While Mr. Justin Gatlin came in third with a time of 9.79.

Another highly anticipated event of the evening was the Women’s 400m Final.  Ms. Sanya Richards-Ross of Team USA won the gold medal.  Her time: 49.55.  Ms. Christine Ohuruogu of Team GB won the silver medal and Ms. Dee Dee Trotter of Team USA  won the bronze medal.
