On August 2, 2012, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark was at the Eton Dorney Rowing Center to present medals to the winners of the Men’s Lightweight Four in Rowing.
The gold medal went to Team South Africa while the silver medal went to Team GB. As the future king of Denmark presented the bronze medal to Team Denmark he smiled from ear to ear like a proud dad.

In other news, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim remains at home in Denmark with his family. The prince will act as regent for the next few days while some of the members of the royal family enjoy the Olympics in London. But, don’t fret. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie are expected to attend the Olympic Games come August 10-12.
