Random Royal News Regarding Members of the Danish Royal Family
On June 1, 2012, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark was at the Landgreven in Copenhagen to attend the “first nationwide network for charging electric cars.” Basically, it’s a charging station entitled, Quick-Charge.
At this time there are only a handful of stations throughout Denmark according to the Danish newspaper, Berlingske. However, the company which owns these electric car charging stations hope to expand their business even more within the next several years.
Meanwhile, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark was also in Copenhagen this afternoon to handout four awards from her patronage, AIDS Foundation. Recipients included Dr. Nina Friis-Møller and Ida Davidsen.
And, finally, on May 31, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark took his grandchildren — Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix — to the Copenhagen Zoo. The purpose of the royal attendance to the famous zoo was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the arrival “… of elephants from Thailand…”
During the celebrations, the prince consort gave a lengthy speech which bored the heck out of his sweet grandchildren, who just wanted to see the awesome elephants instead of watching grandpa yap on and on.
