Recently, well-known author, model, illustrator, professional Christmas tree decorator, and now famous godmother, Miss Carina Axelsson presented the proceeds from her annual Advent calendar to the Bad Berleburg library in the form “… of books, CDs and educational games…”
Of course whilst at the library there was a photo-op and interview with the American writer and not-yet-a-princess. Here is what she had to say (crappy translation, sorry):
Every Christmas the Miss Axelsson’s famous Advent calendar has given not only the buyers much anticipation for the holiday season, but now the children and young people in Bad Berleburg new reading material. ”My idea has worked very well again with the sales of Advent calendar which helps the city library,” said a pleased Carina Axelsson. “Reading is something that has always been close to my heart. Books open new worlds, I would like to help many children and adolescents” says the children’s book author.
1200 Euros were spent purchasing new books, educational games, CDS and audio books for the Bad Berleburg Library thanks to the sale of Miss Axelsson’s Advent calendar.
“Without the support of my Advent calendar the success of it would not have been possible and I would like to thank all those who have supported the sale of the calendar including the Wittgenstein Wochenpost, Wiebelhaus Jewelers, MankelMuth and Kühn bookstores, Café Anno Dazumal, Firma Krug Sport und Bekleidung, and of course, the Bad Berleburg Library.
Asked whether she was done with her annual Advent calendar Carina shakes her head and says, ”No.”

I wonder if she’s still recovering from the dog accident? I will never understand why she likes to dress like a 70 year old.
There is another photo of her sitting down with books surrounding her legs. IIRC it seems that she is still wearing Nike running shoes instead of her usual black flats. So, I suppose she is still recovering from her accident. Poor girl.
As for her style… no comment. loll
