t was announced by the Swedish royal court that Count Carl Johan Bernadotte of Wisborg has passed away at the age of 95.
The youngest son of the late King Gustaf VI Adolf and Margareta of Sweden (Princess Margaret of Connaught) “… died quietly and peacefully with his immediate family surrounding him at Ängelholm Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 9 P.M…” according to the Swedish royal court.
His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden released a statement about the death of his beloved uncle:

At this time funeral arrangements for the late Count Carl Johan have yet to be disclosed.
