Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark Visits the KFUM’s Soldatermission (VIDEOS)

On April 10, 2012, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited the KFUM’s Soldatermission (Soldiers Mission) in Fredericia, Denmark.

Upon her arrival the crown princess was greeted by Secretary-General Per Møller Henriksen,  the KRUM’s Soldatermission Home Manager, Ms. Esther Kofoed as well as other military personnel and their families.  Once inside the facility Crown Princess Mary was given a tour, mingled with the soldiers and their families and ate lunch.

Random Royal News Regarding Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Their Royal Highnesses Princess Caroline and Princess Alexandra of Hanover and The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.

According to the Swedish newspaper, Svensk Damtidning, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark arrived at Fredensborg Slot this afternoon via helicopter from Marselisborg Slot in Aarhus where Her Majesty and Prince Henrik spent their Easter holiday.  Tonight the queen and the prince consort will “… receive the Fredensborg town’s torchlight procession… “ into the inner courtyard off the lovely slot.  The annual event is known as Fakkeltog.

Meanwhile, Their Royal Highnesses Princess Caroline of Hanover and her daughter, Alexandra, spent their Easter weekend in the south of France.  Click here to view photos.

Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan: A Possible Visit Britain in May. Plus, Other News

In a press conference this afternoon in Tokyo, Japan Chief Cabinet Secretary, Mr. Osamu Fujimura, announced that Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko may visit Britain “…to attend a ceremony on May 18 in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne…”    The Imperial Household Agency and the Japanese government are currently working out the details and plans for “possibility” of the imperial couple’s visit.

Meanwhile, Emperor Akihito met with British Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron, at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. Prime Minister Cameron and a British business delegation are currently on a “… week-long visit to East and South East Asia in an attempt to boost UK trade…”
