On March 6, 2012, His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium held an audience with the Secretary of State to Asylum, Immigration and Social Integration and the Assistant to the Minister of Justice, Ms. Maggie de Block. The meeting took place at Château de Laeken.
Afterward, His Majesty met with the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser also at Château de Laeken.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark participated in a meeting with the Danske Geografiske Selskabs (Royal Danish Geographic Society) in Copenhagen this evening.
According to the official website for the RDGS, the purpose of this group is, “… promote knowledge on the Earth and its people and to further the interest in geographical science.”
