T.R.H.s Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Visit the Exhibition, ‘Curating Cities: Sydney-Copenhagen’ in Australia: Day One Continued

After visiting the Sculpture by the Sea art exhibition in Bondi, T.R.H.s Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived at the Customs House in Sydney to attend the Curating Cities: Sydney-Copenhagen exhibition. This exhibit/project presents how creative approaches:

…can be used in developing sustainable urban areas. The project involves Australian and Danish artists with a number of works presenting solutions to reducing CO2 in green environments.  source

Upon their arrival the dashing royal couple were greeted by hundreds of well-wishers franticly waving the Danish flag.  Then the Sydney Lord Mayor, Clover Moore, shook their hands and ushered them into the Customs House.  Once inside they observed the objects on display, mingled with the guests, and rode stationary bicycles that generates power for making interesting drinks.  Don’t ask me how riding a stationary bike ties in with making drinks… just go with it.   :)

That’s really cool, I was just at Sculpture’s by the Sea a few weeks ago. Wish I had chosen to go this week! Maybe I would have caught a glimpse of them :)
