On October 5, 2011, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf and H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden participated in a working meeting with the Advisory Council at the royal palace in Stockholm.
The Advisory Council is a consultative body between the Swedish government and parliament, where the King Carl XVI Gustaf is chairman.Advisory Council is convened by the Government. The Constitution states that “The government must keep the Advisory Council informed of the foreign policy conditions that may be of importance for the country and discuss with the Board on these as often as necessary.” source
On October 7, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the opening of Spanish photographer Miguel Rio Branco’s exhibit entitled, Solo, at the Kulturhuest in Stockholm. To learn more about the exhibition please click here.
Meanwhile, H.R.H. Princess Madeleine of Sweden is currently in back in New York City after a three-day working trip to Brazil. The princess was seen hanging out with her millionaire financier boyfriend, Mr. Christopher O’Neill, as they roamed the busy streets looking oh-so in love.
