H.R.H. Princess Marie of Denmark At Billund Airport
This afternoon, March 27, 2011, at the Billund Airport located in South Jutland the bubbly French-born Princess Marie of Denmark inaugurated a new route between Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to Billund Airport in South Jutland in Denmark.
Looking lovely in lavender the Princess was all smiles as she cut the ribbon to official open this important air route. According to Billund Airport Director, Kjeld Zacho, Princess Marie:
The princess was the natural choice since the Air France Sunday afternoon inaugurated its new route… Kjeld Zacho Jorgensen called the event a great day for London Heathrow Airport. ’To inaugurate the new route is always a great day in our airport. Today, we have been looking forward very special because it’s Air France and especially since the route opened by Her Royal Highness.’
The President of Billund Airport, shipowner Bjarne Hansen kept his speech in French. He mentioned among other things, that Billund Airport during the past few years has seen considerable growth. ‘We have many exciting routes. But the route to Charles de Gaulle airport is important to us, and the Air France flights on the route are very pleased.’
