HM Queen Margrethe of Denmark Talks About the New Danish Twins Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, and Family
Of course it would be.
HM Queen Margrethe reports that all is well with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary’s new members of their family. However, she has decided to give the family some quiet time for after the birth of the twins.
‘We have much to do all the time. I also, think that when one has to nurse two children all at once, one shouldn’t be stressed about other things. It is rather strenuous to have twins and that is enough.
The Queen could already see the difference on going with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary and their family. But as a Grandma there isn’t much difference.
‘Not for me. But I can see, how much it matters for the family that it hits, so to speak. There is twice so much all the time; it’s very strenuous. I have impressions of that it has been slept, eat, nurse. Sleep, eat, nurse.’
The Queen also reports that there is big difference between the children both as to the appearance and temperament. The daughter-in-law Crown Princess Mary has told her that there is clear difference in how they react and behave.
In addition prince Christian and princess Isabella have accepted the twins The two large children are, according to the Queen,’ very proud’ of the twins.
The twins will be baptized on April 14th and Queen Margrethe informs to Billed-Bladet that she still doesn’t know the names of the children.
