On January 14, 2011, HRH Princess Letizia of Asturias participated in the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (The Spanish Association Against Cancer) in Madrid, Spain.

The gorgeous and intelligent Princess met with various leaders within the organization and participated in the meeting as their President of Honor.  The Princess goal is to “…promote cancer research and help those suffering from the disease.”  Bravo!  Letizia!!  Bravo!!

Finally!  Finally, I can report some news from the beautiful country of Liechtenstein and the Princely family.

Like other royal and princely houses in Europe, the Princely Family of Liechtenstein held their annual New Year’s reception at the majestic Vaduz Castle.

HSH Prince Hans-Adam, HSH Princess Marie, Hereditary Prince Alois and his wife Princess Sophie greeted a myriad of guests inside the castle.  Hors d’oeuvres and drinks were served while the attendees and Princely family mingled.  All in all the reception looked like, well, a fun reception.    :)

Is HRH Princess Madeleine dating again?  Well, according to several Swedish magazines including Expressen and Aftonbladet, she is.

Recently the pretty blonde was seen at the famous Central Part Boathouse restaurant in New York City with a tall and handsome man (from what I can see of him… he has a nice profile and nicely shaped head.   LOL)

According to Aftonbladet the man’s name is Chris and he is a stockbroker.  Whether Princess Madeleine and Chris are in a serious relationship remains unknown at this time; however, many royal watchers are hoping they are.  The poor dear was previously engaged to a jerk who cheated on her months before the two were to wed.

On January 14, 1972, Margrethe of Denmark became Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark after the death of her father, King Frederik IX of Denmark.

Prior to her accession to the throne a then  Princess Margrethe studied Archeology whilst at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.  From there she studied Political Science at the Sorbonne, London School of Economics, and Aarhus University in Denmark.  She is also a gifted artist and linguist.

In 1967, she met and eventually married Henri de Laborde de Monpezat.  The couple had two children:  Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim.  Today, HM Queen Margrethe is a proud Grandmother of seven.

Her Majesty Queen Margrethe is quite popular in Denmark and they, from what I understand, are immensely proud of Queen Daisy (her nickname.)

So, congrats Your Majesty!!
