The Royal Correspondent

This afternoon, December 20, 2010, HRH Princess Letizia of Asturias received several members from the Spanish Association Against Cancer at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, Spain.

Princess Letizia if the Honorary President of this organization, and one in which she seems to be quite proud of.

Princess Letizia took several photos for the occasion and as you can see, everyone was in good spirits

On December 20, 2010, the royal family of Sweden attended the annual meeting of the Swedish Royal Academy in Stockholm, Sweden.

HM King Carl Gustaf, HM Queen Silvia along with Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel, and HRH Princess Madeleine dressed to the nines for this event.  This was the first event for Princess Madeleine since she returned to Sweden from her new home in New York City.

Unfortunately, HRH Prince Carl Phillip did not attend.  Reasons for his absence is unknown at this time, but there is a good chance he wasn’t with his reality TV star and snake loving girlfriend, Sofia Hellqvist.

Last night, Their Majesties Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf XVI of Sweden attended a Christmas concert at the Hedvig Eleonora Church in Stockholm, Sweden.

The couple looked quite happy as they walked in the snow to the  beautiful old church.

Unfortunately, images from this engagement are not available at the moment — thus the photo of awesome King Carl with bunny ears.  Nevertheless, when the images are released I will update  this post!

Officially approved by HRH Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton you can now purchase items from The Royal Collection to commemorate the upcoming British Royal wedding.

So far, the items available for purchase are: Wedding Plates, Tankards, and Pillboxes.  Tacky tea towels with their faces on it are not available.

I don’t know… the China set looks, well, cheap.  But hey, if you are into purchasing these types of stuff with Prince William and Catherine’s logo on it… knock yourself out.
