If the story in today’s Telegraph newspaper are true, I really wish that someone, for once, would tell Prince William to stop whining and quit acting like Veruca Salt (you know the spoiled brat character from the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If you haven’t seen the movie… watch it!)
Any way, here’s his latest antic.
According to the Telegraph newspaper, Prince William complained to his Grandmother, The Queen, about his and Catherine Middleton’s future titles. He exclaimed, ”I don’t want to be a Duke!!! I want remain a Prince and I want her to be a Princess!!!”
Le sigh.
You know… I … I get it. I get that he’s trying to do things his way, but this bitch-fest complain train that he has been on, since his engagement announcement, is really becoming quite freaking annoying.
First, he didn’t want any photographers taking photos of Catherine before the wedding. Fine. Understandable.
Then, he announced that Catherine Middleton’s family were to going play a major role within the royal family circle. Uh, okay. Cool.
From there he banned several souvenir items that many people traditionally collect during major events such as his already annoying up coming wedding.
Now, he’s bitching about his and Catherine’s future titles.
Doesn’t he realize that if he forces (rather whines and complains) to the Queen — his 80 something year old Grandmother — to make Catherine a Princess instead of a Duchess that creates conflict in the family? For those who don’t know, here is a CliffNotes breakdown per the Telegraph article:
When Prince Henry, the Duke of Gloucester died, the Queen gave the Duchess of Gloucester the title Princess Alice. This was, though, to reward her for years of loyal service.
If this happened, I am pretty certain that Princess Michael of Kent, for example, would ask to become Princess Marie-Christine. I should think that there will be some pressure put on him [William] not to change the system.
There are several others in the royal family who should have been given the title of Princess when they married their husbands — Camilla, Sophie, and Birgitte — but they didn’t. So, if crybaby William gets his way then all the others — Camilla, Sophie, Birgitte, and Marie-Christine — would have to be given the title of Princess. Does that make sense?
Prince William should be freaking happy with all the privileges that he has in his life. He needs stop bitching about the small inane stuff. So, he’ll be created a Duke and she a Duchess… big deal. He’ll be King one day!
Someone needs to remind Prince William that there are people in this world who are struggling economically, physically, and emotionally. Yet, he’s are bitching about a freaking title? As I just said… Prince William will be the King of England one day so what the heck does it matter if he is a Duke and Catherine is a Duchess for now?

All I have to say is: Congrats on your up coming marriage to Catherine, but seriously stop whining, William.
**I am fully aware that my comments about Prince William may upset some of my readers and for that I am sorry. I’m simply expressing my thoughts, and No, I don’t dislike the guy… I just believe he’s behaving like a complete tool in regards to him being upset over the possibility of becoming a Duke and Catherine a Duchess.
