HRH Princess Marie of Denmark finally received her very own Coat of Arms. According to the Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, Princess Marie’s new CofA has been described as:
…the head motif is a horse, which refers to Cavallier [Marie's maiden name] which translates as horseman. There are three supporting characters, which are red hearts with a lily-shaped indentation. Red for Danish and the lily for French. There is also an attribute of the Virgin Mary, which refers to Marie’s first name. The colours in both silver(white), read and blue from both the Danish and French flags.
HRH Princess Marie’s new Coat of Arms will soon be placed in the chapel of Royal Orders at Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark.
